1999-2002 S 55 AMG


Mercedes-AMG – On January 1, 1999, AMG was incorporated into the DaimlerChrysler Group. The S 55 AMG, a sport sedan with an 8-cylinder engine, was to be brought to market directly after the corresponding series production model. Barely six months after the introduction of the new W 220 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the new AMG flagship automobile known as the S 55 AMG appeared as well, initially as a limited edition.
